The video shows our Pelicanno Conveyors + Patent Granted Robot! For years, I’ve been in the field starting up centrifuges, belt filter presses, fluid bed incinerators and sludge dewatering rental skids. And like every operator, I’ve picked up the shovel. Not once. Not twice. Many times.

When dried sludge starts piling up in a 20yd3 container, someone has to climb in and spread it.

And I never believed in standing outside giving instructions.

If the operator is shoveling… I’m shoveling too.

One day during a startup, I was inside that container again with heavy sludge, heat, long day and I stopped.

I looked at the conveyor outlet and thought:

Why are we still doing this?
Why have we accepted this as normal?

I turned to the operator next to me and said:
“I’m going to build a robot to do this job.”

Not because it sounded cool.
Not because I wanted a patent.

But because I was tired of watching good people do painful, exhausting work that a machine should be doing.

What followed were late nights of sketches, engineering hours, drafting, fabrication in the shop, and a lot of trial and error.

We built the prototype.
We called it the Ghost Scooper Robot.

A month later, we mounted it to the cake conveyor chute.

We pressed play.

When sludge started flowing, the robot came alive.

It rotated.
It projected.
It distributed the sludge across the container evenly, powerfully and without anyone stepping inside.

That moment is now protected as U.S. Patent No. 12,546,322 B2.

But this patent isn’t about machinery.

It’s about standing next to operators, not above them.

Choctaw Nation Mobile Sludge Dewatering Platform – Louisiana, USA

Designed, manufactured, assembled, programmed, and factory-tested by PolyGhost in Puerto Rico, this Alfa Laval / PolyGhost trailer-mounted sludge dewatering platform was delivered to the Choctaw Nation Municipality in Louisiana as a complete plug-and-play biosolids processing solution.

At Humacao WWTP, PolyGhost Pelicanno™ HydroCyclone Technology continuously removes grit from wastewater using the power of centrifugal separation.

Inside every HydroCyclone, wastewater enters under pressure and creates a high-velocity vortex.
