CAT-5 JET PROPULSION
DRY POWDER DISSOLUTION SYSTEMS

CAT-5 Jet Propulsion Dry Powder Dissolution System
The CAT-5 Jet Propulsion Dry Powder Dissolution System is a high-performance inline powder dissolution and mixing technology engineered to instantaneously disperse dry powders into liquids, producing a homogeneous blend under extreme flow and operating conditions.
Developed for demanding environments such as oil & gas, mining, fracking, and municipal water and wastewater treatment, the CAT-5 system delivers reliable, continuous mixing where conventional eductors, wetting cones, or batch tanks fail.
Core Technology
At the heart of the CAT-5 system is PolyGhost’s USPTO-patented (2023) Jet Propulsion Mixing Technology, integrated directly into the dissolution chamber.
This architecture uses controlled jet propulsion to:
Instantly wet and disperse dry powders
Eliminate clumping, fisheyes, and incomplete dissolution
Maintain consistent slurry quality at high flow rates
Operate inline without large retention tanks or batch delays
The result is fast, uniform, and repeatable dissolution even for difficult-to-handle powders.
Materials & Applications
The CAT-5 system is engineered to handle a wide range of dry powders, including:
Dry polymers
Calcium hydroxide
Hydrated lime (Ca(OH)₂)
Soda ash
PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon)
Sugars
Additives
Cosmetic and specialty powders
System Architecture
CAT-5 units can be deployed as:
Standalone inline dissolution modules, or
Fully integrated skid-mounted systems including:
Powder feeding and hopper systems
Control panels
Instrumentation and flow control
Automation and safety interlocks
The system is designed for continuous, high-flow operation in harsh, abrasive, and corrosive environments.
Operational Advantages
Instantaneous powder wetting and dissolution
Inline operation with minimal footprint
No batch tanks or long aging delays required
High-flow capability with stable output quality
Rugged design for industrial-duty service
Seamless integration with PolyGhost platforms
