GHOST THICKENER

GHOST Inline Sludge Thickeners
Compact. Continuous. Geometry-driven thickening.
The GHOST™ Inline Sludge Thickeners are compact, high-efficiency systems designed to increase sludge solids concentration while maintaining fluid-like behavior for downstream transport and processing.
Unlike conventional gravity belt thickeners or rotary drum thickeners, Ghost Inline Thickeners operate in a fully enclosed, inline configuration, reducing sludge volume without converting it into a difficult-to-handle solid phase.

The result: less water, less volume, same pumpable sludge.

How It Works
Sludge enters the Ghost Thickener as a low-solids stream and passes through an internal separation geometry that concentrates solids while continuously releasing centrate.
Thickened sludge exits at higher solids concentration, while clarified centrate is discharged separately.

This controlled inline process increases solids concentration and reduces total sludge volume without requiring large footprints, open tanks, or gravity-based separation.

Key Advantages
Performs the function of a gravity belt thickener or rotary drum thickener
Requires up to 75% less space than conventional thickening technologies
Fully enclosed, inline operation
Maintains sludge in a liquid, pumpable state
Continuous operation with minimal civil works
Ideal for retrofit and space-constrained facilities

Operational Value
Ghost Inline Sludge Thickeners are especially effective for facilities that haul sludge between treatment plants or off-site for further processing.
By thickening sludge before transport, facilities haul solids instead of water, reducing hauling frequency, fuel costs, and overall operating expenses — every day, on every load.
