Manta High Speed Separators

MANTA Inline Oil/Water Centrifugal Separator
Advanced inline separation architecture under development.
The MANTA Oil/Water Centrifugal Separator is a next-generation inline separation technology designed to redefine how oil and water are separated in compact, enclosed systems.
MANTA introduces a first-of-its-kind architecture that integrates submersible high-speed motors directly inside the separation chamber, operating in direct contact with the separated liquids.
Unlike conventional centrifuges that rely on external drives, shafts, and seals, the MANTA system converts PolyGhost’s proprietary blending chamber into a high-efficiency oil/water separation chamber.
At the core of the system is a high-speed submersible motor, capable of operating across a wide speed range from 2,000 RPM up to 12,000 RPM driving an internal high-speed disc separation assembly.
The disc stack incorporates multiple oil and water distribution chambers, enabling controlled centrifugal separation within a compact inline footprint.
The architecture eliminates traditional mechanical complexity while enabling continuous inline operation, reduced footprint, and simplified integration into process pipelines.
Key Conceptual Advantages
Inline centrifugal oil/water separation
Submersible motor operating directly within the separation chamber
No external shafts, couplings, or dynamic seals
High-speed disc separation with staged oil and water outlets
Compact, enclosed geometry suitable for modular platforms
Designed for integration with PolyGhost process systems
Development Status
The MANTA™ Oil/Water Centrifugal Separator is currently under development as part of PolyGhost’s ongoing expansion into platform-level fluid separation technologies.
